Ankur Lodha, MD
Dr. Ankur Lodha joined Cardiovascular
Institute of the South in 2014 as an interventional cardiologist. He
specializes in the management and treatment of cardiovascular and peripheral
vascular disease including interventional procedures.
Dr. Lodha earned his
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Bangalore Medical College in
India. He completed his general cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical
Center in Brooklyn, New York where was given the honor of being named chief
resident because of his knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities. He
continued his training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Allegheny General
Hospital where he completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Lodha has been a reviewer
for many well known medical journals. He
has published numerous articles, has authored many abstracts and received an
award from the Medical Society for the State of New York.
Dr. Lodha is board
certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography,
and he is a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
