Nine Meridian cardiologists, Dr. Wes Bennett, Dr. Tim Boyd, Dr. L. Shea Hailey, Dr. Scott Joransen, Dr. Thomas Plavac, Dr. E. Michael Purvis, Dr. Jennifer Rodriguez, Dr. Attila Roka, and Dr. Dale Touchstone, have joined together to form a new cardiology practice called Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Meridian. This expert team is now practicing at the new CIS Meridian clinic located at Anderson Regional Medical Center- South at 1102 Constitution Avenue.
While this team of physicians has a new practice name and location, patients will receive the same world-class cardiovascular care from their trusted cardiologist in Meridian. Additionally, these physicians are continuing to work at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
For more than 33 years, CIS’s passion has been to provide advanced, quality cardiovascular care to all communities, with a particular mission to make world-class care available in rural areas.
