Dr. Agostino "Gus" Ingraldi joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2007 and practices as a staff cardiologist at CIS Lafayette and CIS at Lafayette General.
Dr. Ingraldi received his undergraduate degree from Ursinus College and earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship and his interventional cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Ingraldi is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Serving as the Chief of Staff for The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana for 2011-2012, and Vice Chief of Staff for 2010-2011, Dr. Ingraldi has also authored numerous medical journal publications. He has received a number of awards, including the 2006-2007 Internal Medicine Outstanding Service Award, and the 2005-2006 Teaching Fellow of the Year Award.
