 Wade B. May, MD
Cardiologist
Dr. Wade May, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana, serves as a staff cardiologist for Cardiovascular Institute of the South at CIS Lafayette, CIS at Lafayette General and CIS Crowley.
In 1999, Dr. May graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and he received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2003.
He completed his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2006 and completed his cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans in 2009.
Dr. May is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He is a member of numerous professional societies including the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Echocardiography and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
