 Youngsville is one of the fastest growing towns in Louisiana. With surrounding communities such as Lafayette, Broussard and New Iberia, Youngsville provides residents with the convenient access to nearby restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Youngsville has many projects in place to accommodate its growing population and economic development. Multiple residential developments are in progress, and plans are underway for Youngsville Parkway, a new throughway to address transportation needs in the area.
Youngsville is also home to one of the oldest catholic churches in Lafayette Parish- St. Anne Catholic Church. School districts in Youngsville include Green T. Lindon, Youngsville Middle, and Ernest Gallet.
In recent years, Youngsville has been able to extend its boundaries and expand its services. However, it remains a rural city surrounded by sugarcane farms, and it maintains a unique urban atmosphere outside of the city of Lafayette. |
