Mahesh G. Changlani, MD
Cardiologist
 Dr. Mahesh Changlani, a native of India, received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Bombay.
Following postgraduate training in internal medicine and cardiology at King Edward Hospital in Bombay, he came to the United States, where he completed a residency in internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Illinois Medical School. He served as chief fellow of the Division of Cardiology at Humana Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago during advanced training in interventional and non-invasive cardiology.
Dr. Changlani is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Chest Physicians.
For several years, Dr. Changlani served as a CIS staff cardiologist in Morgan City before relocating to serve as medical director of the CIS cardiology clinic in New Iberia.
