Michael W. McElderry, MD
Cardiologist
 Dr. Michael McElderry is a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native. He received his undergraduate degree at LSU in his hometown and his medical degree at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also conducted his internship and residency, serving as clinical chief resident.
He completed his residency in cardiology and a fourth year fellowship in interventional cardiology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, serving as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology.
Dr. McElderry is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Angiology and has authored several publications in his specialty.
He is the medical director of the CIS Lafayette clinic in Lafayette, Louisiana where he currently practices cardiology.
