Jack W. Heidenreich, MD Family Physician
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Jack Heidenreich relocated to Louisiana at a young age. He graduated from Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, with academic honors. He received his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. While attending LSU, he worked in the Department of Botany as a research assistant at the Naval Oceanographic office in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Dr. Heidenreich received his medical degree from LSUMC in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was a research assistant in the Department of Pharmacology. He completed his residency at University Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Since relocating to Lafourche Parish, Dr. Heidenreich has served as a staff physician for the Lafourche Parish Mental Health Clinic and chief of staff at St. Anne General Hospital, Raceland, Louisiana.
Dr. Heidenreich belongs to several professional societies including the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Lafourche Parish Medical Society where he served as President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer.
Dr. Heidenreich is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He practices family medicine at the Family Doctor Clinic of Mathews and has privileges at St. Anne General Hospital, Raceland, Louisiana.
