 John Baskett
Nurse Practitioner
John Baskett, RN, MSN, ARNP-FNP, serves as a nurse practitioner for Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Houma. He attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2001.
Mr. Baskett is licensed as a registered nurse and an advanced practice nurse. He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He also has hospital privileges at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
Prior to joining the CIS Team, Mr. Baskett worked as a family nurse practitioner for James P. Wilson, MD Internal Medicine in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He also served as a registered nurse for North Okaloosa Medical Center and Bay Medical Center in Florida.
