Interventional Cardiologist / PVD Fellow
Dr. Aaron Gopal is an interventional cardiologist and peripheral vascular fellow at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Gray, Louisiana.
He earned his premedicine degree from Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, finishing with honors. He continued his studies in Augusta, Georgia where he completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. His previous interventional cardiology fellowship was at the University of Florida Shands in Gainesville, Florida.
Dr. Gopal is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
