Interventional Cardiologist / PVD Fellow
Dr. Douglas Rheam is an interventional cardiologist and peripheral vascular fellow at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Gray, Louisiana.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. He earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also completed his internal medicine residency and was named chief resident. His cardiovascular fellowship and interventional cardiovascular fellowship were completed at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
Dr. Rheam enjoys volunteering to coach, train and mentor young football athletes.
