Lucy Watkins serves as marketing director for Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS). A native of Chicago, Illinois, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with concentrations in Public Relations and Marketing from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.
Watkins has worked in the health care industry for several years. She served as the marketing and corporate sponsorships manager for Ochsner Health System in New Orleans where she was responsible for managing system-wide partnerships and developing marketing strategies. She has also served as the marketing coordinator for Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, Louisiana.
Prior to moving to Louisiana, Watkins worked for the Chicago White Sox in their corporate sponsorship and marketing department. She is also a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD).
