Nurse Practitioner
Rachel Temple is a nurse practitioner at CIS in Meridian. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
Temple previously worked as a registered nurse at both CIS and Anderson Regional Medical Center. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse and registered nurse by the state of Mississippi. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the Meridian Symphony League. She also received the National Collegiate Nursing Award in 2012 and was a recipient of the Matthew David May Memorial Scholarship.
