Robert Greer, MD
Dr. Robert Greer joined the physician team at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2005. Originally from Franklinton, Louisiana, he received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center (LSUMC) in Shreveport.
Dr. Greer completed his internal medicine residency at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge and his cardiology fellowship at LSUMC Health Science Center's Department of Medicine in New Orleans. Prior to joining the CIS team, Dr. Greer practiced cardiology in New Orleans, and he also worked as an emergency room physician at various hospitals in the state.
He has privileges at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center in Thibodaux and at St. Anne General Hospital in Raceland.
