Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Robert Menuet, a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana, serves as an interventional cardiologist for Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Opelousas where he now holds the position of medical director. He is also the Director of Cath Lab Services of coronary and peripheral/endovascular interventions as well as the Director of Outpatient Clinical Services.
In 2000, Dr. Menuet received his medical degree from Louisiana State University of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency in 2003 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and he completed his cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans in 2006.
Dr. Menuet is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular services. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions and a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society.
He also has hospital privileges throughout Opelousas and Lafayette.
