Kerry M. Domangue Jr. is the director of accounting for Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).  He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.  He is responsible for the management of the accounting department staff and oversees areas such as cash management, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, sales tax, operating and asset financing, budgeting, projections and financial reporting.  He also assists with financial statements, retirement plan audits and tax preparation.

Domangue has been with CIS since 1996.  In 2006, he won a CIS Leadership Award for demonstrating a spirit of teamwork, creativity, innovation, and willingness to meet the challenges of the future.  In 2009, the accounting department won the CIS Special Achievement Award, and in 2012, Domangue also earned the CIS All Star Award.  

Domangue is a licensed certified public accountant and charted global management accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), the LCPA’s South Central Chapter and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
