JENNINGS- On October 15, Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) will begin providing comprehensive cardiovascular care at a new clinic location at 422 Kade Drive, Suite 1 in Jennings.
Interventional cardiologists Dr. Avinash Murthy and Dr. Fernando Ruiz, and nurse practitioner Karen Golla, will be providing cardiovascular care to patients at this location. This clinic will be open Monday-Friday and will offer a full range of cardiovascular services including holter monitoring, event monitoring, ultrasound, nuclear and treadmill testing services to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. Smoking cessation services are also available.
