Profile

Pam Pratt serves as the Executive Vice President of Practice Management for Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).  Her primary office is in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Pratt brings more than 24 years of health care experience to CIS. 

Pratt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana and a Master’s of Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. 

Pratt joined CIS in 1994 serving as the Administrator for CIS in Thibodaux.  Prior to her current position, Pratt also worked as the Practice Administrator for the Lafayette practice, and the Regional Practice Administrator for CIS in the Lafayette and Baton Rouge regions.

Pratt has won numerous CIS honors, including the highest award CIS bestows, the Mary Domangue Award. The Mary Domangue Award is presented to the CIS leader that most exemplifies the highest standards of patient care, compassion, and dedication established by Mary Domangue, CIS’s first employee. The recipient of this award carries on the mission, vision, and values held true by the staff and physicians of CIS.  Pratt earned three Leadership Awards, as well as the Team Leader Spirit Award.   

Pratt is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and served as president of two Louisiana MGMA chapters for several years.  She became a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives in 2012.
