Vice President of Finance
Kamron Lachney, MBA is the Vice President of Finance at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).
Lachney oversees responsibilities of accounting, financial reporting and revenue cycle departments and brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations to CIS. He received his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University and a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University (LSU). He has published and presented on many various healthcare financial and revenue cycle topics over the last few years for American Healthcare Leader Magazine, Becker’s Review, For the Record Magazine, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and many others.
Lachney previously served as the West Florida Division Regional Vice President of Revenue Cycle for Advent Health. He also served on the Finance Board of Directors for eleven hospitals where he led finance improvement initiatives and adapted revenue cycle strategies and processes to meet the ever-changing needs of healthcare.
In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, playing golf, boating, fishing, and supporting his beloved LSU Tigers! He is also a member of the Endymion Mardi Gras Super Krewe founded by Ed Muniz. He is active in his church and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, church ministries, the Coast Guard Auxiliary Aviation Search and Rescue Team, and the LSU Alumni Association.
