Murray Morella serves as the Nurse Practitioner Team Leader at CIS in Houma, as well as the Regional EP Coordinator. He earned both an associate’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge. He completed his Master of Science in Nursing with a 4.0 GPA from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux.
Morella previously worked as a registered nurse at Terrebonne General Health System, AMG Specialty Hospital, Lafayette General Medical Center and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
Morella is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is also licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse and registered nurse by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Additionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
