At the Heart of Saving Lives.
The Telecardiology Opportunity.
Cardiovascular Institute of the South offers telecardiology services to remotely-located hospitals, anywhere in the country, allowing patients to receive world-class cardiology care without leaving their community. CIS cardiologists provide 24/7 emergent consultation in the emergency room and non-emergent consultation for inpatients. This unlimited access to a cardiologist gives rural hospitals across the country the ability to keep more patients and reduce unnecessary transfers. Telecardiology also gives great support to local physicians who are sometimes alone when taking care of complex, cardiac patients in the local community. This comprehensive Telecardiology service includes the equipment, IT support, cardiac workflows, on-site protocol training, cardiology-specific training for nurses, and monthly quality assurance and reporting. |
