Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Garland Green joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2012 as an interventional cardiologist at the Baton Rouge office. He has provided cardiology care for patients since 2007.
Dr. Green earned his doctorate at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internal medicine residency through the University of Alabama-Birmingham Program, and he completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Green is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology, and he is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the National Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
