Heart Attack Prevention:

While there are predetermining factors that can increase a person's risk of having a heart attack, we have listed some of the precautionary steps that can contribute to lowering a heart attack:

  • Avoid Tobacco
  • Physical Activity
  • Good Nutrition

Some of the more common signs of a heart attack are:

  • Consistent squeezing pain in the center of chest
  • Chest pain radiating to the arms, neck, shoulder, & ears
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, blackouts, fainting, & shortness of breath
  • Nausea, stomach pain, or vomiting
  • Sweating, cold-sweats, or paleness
  • Heart palpitations or irregular heartbeat
  • Unexplained fatigue or weakness
