Dr. John Lawrence is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Lafayette.
Dr. Lawrence attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He earned his doctorate at Columbia University in New York, New York. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lawrence is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
