Electrophysiologist in Lafayette
Dr. Marc Saad joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2015 and practices electrophysiology and general cardiology.
Before joining CIS, Dr. Saad had a private practice in Monroe. He received his doctorate from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Saad began his medical training at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas where he served as an internal medicine intern and resident. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Scott and White Heart and Vascular Institute in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Saad is board certified in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, the Heart Rhythm Society and the Ouachita Medical Society. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society during medical school and volunteered for the American Red Cross during relief for Hurricane Katrina.
