Dr. Manpreet Singh is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Zachary.
Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, in 2001, and went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Medical University of the Americas in St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies, in 2008.
He completed his internal medicine residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans in 2011 and continued his training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he completed his cardiology fellowship in 2014 and his interventional cardiology fellowship in 2016.
Before joining CIS, Dr. Singh cared for patients at Cardiology Center in Marrero as an invasive cardiologist. He later practiced as an interventional cardiologist at Louisiana Heart Hospital and Medical Group in Lacombe, Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group – Louisiana Cardiology Associates in Baton Rouge, and Louisiana Heart and Vascular Institute in Covington.
Dr. Singh is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Singh performs a wide range of interventional procedures, including complex and trans-radial coronary interventions, peripheral arterial interventions such as iliac, carotid, and renal artery stenting, as well as treatments for critical limb ischemia and venous disease.
His clinical areas of focus include preventive cardiology, cardiometabolic syndrome, congestive heart failure, and heart rhythm disorders.
