Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. McCall Walker is an interventional cardiologist at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South in the Houma region.
Dr. Walker attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in chemistry. He attended LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans for his doctorate. He graduated with honors and is part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia. He completed his fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Walker is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the Medical Society of Virginia.
