Porsche Uche is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Baton Rouge.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Southern University and A&M College and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
Uche brings more than 10 years of diverse clinical experience in emergency medicine, family practice, internal medicine, and post-acute care. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care while helping patients better understand their health through education, prevention, and open communication. Her clinical approach focuses not only on treating disease, but also on improving quality of life and empowering patients to actively participate in their care.
Known for her dedication, professionalism, and warm bedside manner, Uche values building meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing high-quality, individualized care across a variety of healthcare settings.
She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is an active member of the Louisiana State Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Junior League of Baton Rouge.
Outside of medicine, Uche is deeply committed to service and community outreach. She is a devoted wife and mother who values faith, family, mentorship, and giving back to the community she serves.
